Responsibilities:

• Processing and accurately dispense prescription orders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to optimize medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and long-term care pharmacy regulation
• Provides direction and guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Support quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Support team culture and promote a positive work environment
• Familiarity with LTC regulations and electronic health record systems
• Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously as well as with a team
• Experience in PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or a similar systems
