Part-Time Van Driver

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1pm - 7pm, On-Call every other weekend

Sage Rehabilitation Inpatient & Outpatient facilities is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver - Transportation Team Member to safely transport patients to and from various medical appointments to include hospital admissions, doctors' appointments and various other medically related visit types.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver’s License.
• Current, unrestricted Chauffeur's License in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Previous CNA experience in a hospital preferred

Job Duties:

• Provides safe patient transportation to and from the Inpatient, Outpatient, Wound Care facilities as scheduled in company provided van
• Maintains communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location throughout the day.
• Ensures patients and other passengers are safely in the vehicle and are using safety belts prior to driving vehicle to next destination.
• Follows all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.
• Ensures that vehicle received regular maintenance per schedule and completed vehicle safety checks.
