Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Louisiana
• 1 year of Rehab/LTAC experience required
• At least one year supervisory and administrative experience preferred
• At least one year in a Director of Nursing (DON) position or similar
• BSN Preferred

Job Duties:

• Provide executive direction and oversight for nursing and other services
• Plan, organize and direct management and delivery of quality patient care
• Direct development and approve hospital-wide patient care programs, policies, and procedures
• Ensure that patients receive safe and effective high quality patient care services
• Recruit, interview and evaluate personnel
• Prepare budgets and promote relationships with medical and administrative staff
• Comply with state, federal and governing body regulations to achieve hospital goals
