Clinical Intake Manager (RN/LPN)

Department: Home Office - TCHN
Location: Baton Rouge, LA

The Restorative Division at The Carpenter Health Network is hiring a Clinical Intake Manager.

The Clinical Intake Manager will play an integral role in our team by ensuring care continuity of patients and promoting our care continuum.

Experience/Skills:

  • Proven Marketing/Admissions Intake experience in healthcare with a clinical background such as a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Hospital/Rehab (LTAC, In-patient rehab) experience preferred
  • Strong Clinical Assessment skills
  • Ensuring compliance through clinical perspective, expertise, and critical thinking skills.
  • Capable of achieving results by supervising and participating in Marketing and Admissions Intake activity with minimal direction.
  • Ability to consistently design and achieve appropriate Marketing/Admissions Intake goals and objectives.
  • Talented in networking with referral sources.
  • Experience in developing Marketing plans for hospitals/community.
  • Assisting the director in duties with navigating clinical review, oversite of processes, interviewing/recruiting/hiring, planning and implementing marketing strategies, analyzing marketing trends/changes

Requirements:

  • Clinical discipline with current license in good standing
  • 2 or more years of clinical experience required, Registered Nurse preferred
  • Working knowledge of computers and software packages such as Microsoft 365 Office.
  • Knowledge of hospital data bases
  • Proven ability to work with physicians, social workers, insurance companies, case managers, patients, and families.
  • Current valid LA Driver’s License
