Onboarding Specialist/Office Manager

Location: Denham Springs, LA

Sage Specialty Hospital in Denham Springs, LA is now hiring for an Onboarding Specialist / Office Manager!

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff for open positions, including resume and applications review and contacts with job applicants and with advertising
  • Oversee new hire onboarding, including completion of all new hire paperwork, employee health requirements and training needs
  • Oversee payroll in gathering and processing payroll data, communicating with employees and resolving payroll issues
  • Coordinate and document annual in-service training and other requirements
  • Communicate all facility events/education/opportunities to staff to encourage participation
  • Other adhoc duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year coordinating human resource paperwork
  • Verbal ability to receive and communicate complete and accurate information
  • Ability to organize and manage time, tasks and files
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Human relations skills to use tact and diplomacy in contacts with the persons served, and knowledge of employment laws

This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent and making decisions. This position will suit you if you have good human resource, interpersonal and presentation skills, and office management experience. You need to be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.
