Welcoming Ward Clerk CNA looking to bring joy to their patient care!

Mid City Community Nursing and Rehab is hiring Ward Clerk for every other weekend shift!

Duties:

• Provides general administrative, clerical and support services to the clinical unit assigned
• Ensures optimal and safe patient care by supporting medical and nursing staff
• Keeps medical records and all patient care related documents secured and in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Greet visitors and direct them to patient rooms
• Performs receptionist duties

Requirements:

• Valid CNA certification in the State of Louisiana
• Have dependable transportation, driver’s license and car insurance
• Patient care oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• At least one year of experience in long term care, filing, answering phone calls
