Capitol House Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-Time Night Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our patient care team!

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am

Essential duties include:

• Oversee nursing staff (LPNs & CNAs)
• Regular rounding on patient rooms
• Working on the 12-bed skilled unit
• Educate staff and offer in-services
• Conduct audits
• Perform competency checkoff
• Revise schedules when needed

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) in the State of Louisiana
• Current BLS Certification required
• Time management skills and great communication is a MUST
• Positive and caring attitude
